On this International Women’s Day, Limitless Stree came together and celebrated under the theme “Gender Equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”. To embark on this day with great zeal and enthusiasm, the campaign theme was chosen as #BreakTheBias.
International Women’s Day represents the unity of women across the world to accelerate issues of gender parity. It’s all about feeling self-worth and achieving the goals as per the potential. Most importantly, Women’s rights do not represent a single organization but the collective female community.
Hence, this Day is all about making a difference locally and globally thus providing a better and safe future for the female community. Unless we change our perception towards women, it would not be possible to create a fair and impartial society for all.

“Gender Equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”
In the contemporary world, one of the greatest global challenges is advancing gender equality in the context of the climate crisis and disaster risk reduction. As the issues of climate change and sustainability continue to be, our environment, economic and social development are severely effected. As a result, those who are amongst the most vulnerable and marginalized experience the deepest impacts.
Women are increasingly being recognized as more vulnerable to climate change impacts than men. As they constitute the majority of the world’s poor and are more dependent on the natural resources which climate change threatens the most.
At the same time, women and girls are effective, powerful leaders and change-makers for climate adaptation and mitigation. Therefore, empowering women and girls to have a voice and be equal players in decision-making is essential for sustainable development and greater gender equality. Without gender equality today, a sustainable future, and an equal future, remains beyond our reach.
